Thanks to Red and Jen at Two Tone Racing I have a couple of tickets for Lydden Hill this weekend. Dan and I are going to make the trip down there on Saturday and enjoy the sights and sounds once again (Brands Hatch a few weeks earlier)… can’t wait!
Expect more photos and even some mp3s this time.
The question I’m asking myself once again is… do I want to do a rookie season?!? I think you know the answer… :)

Lots of bikes, noise and FUN! It was the BMCRC-MRO bike racing championship this weekend at Brands Hatch. Just about to go to bed and my grin still hasn’t worn off, but then neither has the ringing in my ear!
Here are some pictures :)

My close friend Dan Irven has just return from New Zealand after spending three weeks travelling the country in a VW (new style) camper van. Rock on!
His adventures included sky diving, glacier walking, hiking, sh**ging, bungy jumping, rafting, helicopter flying and most importantly driving the roads of NZ at an earth shattering 100km/h. Zzzzzzzzh. Anybody that knows Dan, will understand how frustrating that must have been for him… ;)

“We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to Ban the use of Digital Rights Management (DRM) technologies for digital content.”
Details of petition:
“Recently APIG has performed a public inquiry into the use of DRM which has recommended clearly labelling DRM infected products (among other recommendations). We want the government to go one step further and ban the use of DRM in digital content. We believe DRM removes the freedom of choice between competing products and locks users into using a particular service. We do not believe that digital content should be cost free, but it should be provided in such a way that a person who has purchased a copy of it has control over that copy.”

Wozza has posted the second episode of his adventures in Whistler Canada. Entitled “Under the weather”, Warren presents his own weather show to great success. Incredibly real snow, sun and snow bunnies feature heavily, so VIEWER’S DISCRETION IS ADVISED!
Its unfortunate that in this episode, sponsored by Starbucks, Warren is forced to sell out to the big US corporates so soon. Having spent all his money on snow bunnies and booze, rumours on the slopes are he’s having to subsidise his venture by other means.
Its a real shame to see a talented “Web Celebrity” turn bad so soon ;)

I realised I’d been missing something from the good old days. Baking! Now I know what you are thinking… its all part of being the modern metrosexual guy, honest!
Lets face it though, who is going to turn down home made (Nigella Lawson’s actually) brownies on a cold miserable day!?!?
Update: Keith has kindly pointed out that the title should actually be “A domestic god”. All I can say in my defense is that it was late!

Seems by just renaming the soapclient class and constructor you can ‘patch’ NuSoap to work with PHP5.
I’ve renamed the constructor and the class to soap_client and it all works.
Thanks to Vivek Jishtu for the original tip.
