Nokia N95
I hope to list some useful information here relating to the Nokia N95.
One of the first problems to overcome is the lack of VOIP support in the UK Orange version of the phone. Support for VOIP has been removed by means of a custom firmware. Fortunately there are two ways of upgrading the phone to a generica firmware which restores the VOIP support. More details to follow soon…
The Register, has now also picked up the story about Orange crippling the Nokia N95. I’m interested to see if this creates enough negative press for Orange and Vodafone that they issue an upgrade with VOIP enabled.

How to flash firmware to generic version on Orange Nokia N95
Option 1, NSS hack (tested/working)
This hack works by changing the product code of your N95 handset so the Nokia update software is tricked into flashing your phone with a generic firmware, rather than the operator’s image.
For this to work your N95 can’t have the latest firmware, otherwise it won’t update.
The following video explains the steps below.
Step 1
Download the Nemesis Service Suite software from here: http://www.b-phreaks.co.uk/software.htm
