I’m frustrated by Bush’s decision to veto stem cell research. My father suffers from Parkinson’s and just can’t help think that stem research will significantly help in the pursuit of finding a cure. I’m no expert, but judging by those in the know, this is a real mistake.
I was glad to see a video on YouTube by Michael J. Fox, famous actor and Parkinsons sufferer, venting his fustration on US TV.
I’ve now passed my theory too. Woohoo! Only a few lessons and then the actual test to go (hopefully). Still wondering how I’m going to finance this new hobby. I may wait until next year to buy a bike… but I not sure how I’ll survive. I’m itching to get on the road :)
Liz arranged for me to do my CBT (Cumpulsory Basic Training, Not Cognitive Behavioural Therapy :) ) for my birthday. I can honestly say I loved it. I’m already working out which bike I’m going to buy… sofar I like the idea of a Honda CBR600 or a Kawasaki Ninja.
